OPG & CBCT X-Rays

Dental X-Rays are an integral part of providing dental solutions. X-rays provide dentists with insight into the structure and layout of a patient’s teeth, allowing them to provide the best possible dental care.

OPG X-rays use radiation to take pictures of bones and other structures inside the body. An OPG is a panoramic X-ray of the upper and lower jaws, including the teeth. The OPG unit is specifically designed to rotate around the patient’s head during the scan. An OPG will take approximately 20 seconds.

An OPG can be used to look for:

  • list icon Fractures
  • list icon Dislocated jaw
  • list icon Infection
  • list icon Dentition (teeth)
  • list icon Surgical Planning

Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) is a medical imaging technique consisting of X-ray computed tomography, where the X-rays are divergent, forming a cone.

CBCT offers an undistorted view of the dentition that can be used to accurately visualize both erupted & non-erupted teeth, tooth root orientation and anomalous structures that conventional 2D radiography cannot.

3D Scanner & Printer

At Purity Dental, we make use of the latest in dental technology, like our 3D Scanner & Printer. With our 3D scanner & printer, we can create accurate models of your teeth, which are then used to provide the best dental treatments.

Our 3D Dental Scanner & Printer removes the need for traditional, sticky, gooey impressions. The 3D models created from the scans taken are ideal for orthodontic treatment plans.

3D printing takes the efficiencies of digital design to the production stage. By combining oral scanning, CAD/CAM design and 3D printing, dental labs can accurately and rapidly produce crowns, bridges, stone models and a range of orthodontic appliances.
