Dr. Ann holds a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from The University of Melbourne as well as a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree from La Trobe University. She grew up in Melbourne, but has worked in regional Ballarat the past few years to develop her skills and gain a wider experience with different patient groups and dental procedures. She has now returned to Mulgrave and is committed to making a positive contribution to the community she grew up in.
Her experience as a community pharmacist has helped her to develop effective communication and understanding of patients’ health needs. She understands that many people feel anxious and sometimes guilty about neglecting their oral health but she hopes to create a safe, caring and understanding partnership with them so they can achieve their own oral health goals. Patients like her for her gentle touch and how she implements a tell-show-do style of practice.
Dr Ann enjoys providing a variety of dental treatments but has special interest in restorative, crown/bridge dentistry, working with young families and providing treatment under sedation too.
Outside of dentistry, she enjoys playing 9-holes, going out to eat foods from different cultures and spending quality time with her new family of three.
